We are searching for a remote working Technical Project Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC). You will manage the successful completion of a number of complex internal and external customer facing software and IT infrastructure projects. Working with our customers Technology & Information Services Team, which are made up of both internal and external resources, you will take a key role in supporting the Product Management team, helping develop business requirements and solutions. Responsibilities:To deliver the project/programme to proposed timescales, budgets and quality.To task manage the project team during the full development cycle through requirements gathering, analysis of requirements, design, build, testing and deployment.To define, promote and follow good project/programme management practice, implementing and refining appropriate methodologies when required, covering planning, reporting, risks and issues management, contingency planning as appropriate and all project/programme communication.

About YouTo be successful as the Technical Project Manager you will be confident in both technical and commercial projects and be able to provide direction and support to the Head of PMO. You will be able to manage and maintain effective communication with teams, peers and senior management.You will also have/be: - Graduate Calibre.Ability to identify, isolate and resolve complex problems within the context of the project/programme deliverables.Ability to provide mentoring, coaching and guidance to the project/programme team members.Ability to travel as and when the project requires.Experience with software development practices.Experience in infrastructure management.Familiarity with the management of information security / cyber security projects would be an advantage.
