We are working with a leading Semiconductor company that develops, manufacturers and markets high performance ICs for a variety of market areas who currently seeks a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to join a new team in the area of Power Management design. You will have the opportunity to join a growing team based in Limerick, Ireland and be part of a highly successful, innovative company that designs and manufactures award winning semiconductor ICs. In this role you will have a the opportunity to lead a team and provide technical leadership while developing innovative products. You will be required to exercise expertise in system level power management and power specific Analog and Digital circuit design. Responsibilities include:Exercise expertise in fundamental Analog IC Design concepts and functional circuit blocks.Participate in product development from definition to introduction to the market.Guide the entire IC layout process from the creation of a top-level floorplan to the layout of individual circuits.Plan and direct IC lab evaluationReview all IC evaluation results to ensure product quality and performance.Work with colleagues in Test Engineering to develop an efficient production test solutionsProvide clear written and verbal communication to senior management.Industry degree qualified the successful applicant will have a minimum of 8 years in Analog IC Design and experience in multiple power management IC developments that have been brought to market. Excellent organisational and communication skills are required. Experience with mixed-signal verification techniques and an understanding of digital design flows and associated tools are ideal.
