Are you a Hardware Design Engineer looking to technically specialise your skills within a niche and innovative area of telecommunications whilst working within a highly successful company?

On offer is the chance to take on a challenging and autonomous role focussing on R&D and development projects for a leading electronics company who fully will fully invest in staff with additional training and plenty of opportunities for you to progress within the organisation.

This highly innovative business designs, manufactures, and supports complex telecommunication products that are used across the global by industry leading organisations. 15 years since their inception, they developed a fantastic global reputation and have earnt a place on the London Stock Exchange. They are now seeking an ambitious individual to take on a highly interesting technical design role.

In this varied role you will create highly performant board designs and take these through the full NPI cycle into manufacturing. You will work as part of our multi-discipline product design teams to deliver new products and enhancements to our existing portfolio.

This is a hybrid working role, split between time in their HQ and home.

THE ROLE:

*Working closely with the manufacturing team to create high speed digital board designs

*Creating hardware architectures from high level product specifications

*Designing boards with Microprocessor, FPGAs, and latest memory technologies

*Taking products and projects through from R&D to Manufacturing

*Guiding less experienced engineers on the hardware team

THE PERSON:

*Qualified in Electronics or similar

*High Speed/Complex Schematic Design Experience (OrCAD)

*Previous experience in leading hardware development of complex products

*Knowledge of FPGAs, their high speed serial transceivers and battery management would be beneficial
