Platform/DevOps Engineer - REMOTE - up to £100,000! What it needs is partner organisations to help put this vision into practice. My client are one of those partners. They are looking for a passionate, energetic Platform/DevOps Engineer to work as part of an agile team to help clients build and continuously improve digital services, using the best of open source software. You'll be surrounded by passionate colleagues, and working in one of the best cultures that you can find. What you'll be doing: Undertaking cross-functional engineering projects, working in small teams in different knowledge spheres, building supportable, sustainable and reliable services.Working with great engineers who work together and help each other deliver and develop as professionals.Working with bleeding edge technology, the latest and greatest!Working on large scale, technically challenging projects - constantly learning through modern learning environments (attending conferences/tech meetups/hackathons/certifications). Making a real difference at the heart of the digital transformation within the Public Sector. What you'll need:Extensive knowledge of GNU/Linux.Experience of building infrastructure as code, using Terraform.Strong AWS experience (certifications are preferred).Knowledge and experience of setting up and using configuration management tooling (Puppet preferred).Reasonable fluency in at least one of: Ruby, Go, Python Unfortunately we cannot accept any VISAs or provide sponsorship, and the candidate must have the right to work in the UK, and be eligible to undergo SC clearance.
