The successful Electronic Design Engineer will take responsibility for technical solutions within specific electronics design & development projects, working flexibly within a talented multidisciplinary engineering team to work with top class technologies and to deliver highly technical and advanced products.Salary:
The salary on offer for successful Electronic Design Engineer is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on skillset & experience.Work arrangement policy:
The company is based in Leicester and work from home is 3 days onsite and 2 days from home. If you prefer working more days in the office during the week such as 5 days, this is completely fine to do so.Electronics Engineering Key Skills:
3-5+ years minimum industry experienceExperience in product design lifecycle - from concept to introduction into manufacturingElectronics Circuit Design (analogue/digital)PCB Design & SchematicProven experience of PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCAD , Eagle, OrCAD or similarNetwork Interface protocols - I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485Experience of DFM drawings and CAD dataExperience of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and design for test techniquesStrong practical skills - debugging, testing, hand soldering & electronic/mechanical assemblyAbility to work well within a multi-disciplinary R&D teamDesirable nice to have skills:
Experience of analogue circuit designExperience of Xilinx VHDL, Intel Altera for FPGA DesignEmbedded Software Programming in C or C++Experience of EMC/EMI Testing, CE Marking, LVDExperience of Microcontrollers - STM32Experience of power signals, RF, GSM & Lidar technologiesExperience developing products in industries such as - Energy, Defence, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Marine, SpaceBenefits Package:
