Business Analyst Contract Role - Outside IR35 OverviewI'm supporting one of my clients within the Banking Industry that provides fair and flexible mortgages. They are looking to secure a talented Contract Business Analyst to work with Data to solve Business Problems, scoping and understanding data structures to answer questions and improve processes as well as ensure regulatory reporting requirements are met Key informationRole: Technical WriterLocation: LondonRate: £450 per dayContract Length: 3 monthsStart Date: ASAPWorking Arrangements: Mostly remote working with a very occasional visit to the office based in London Role summaryUnderstanding and capturing business requirements from a data and analytics perspectiveEvaluating and prioritising business needs and objectivesOwnership and responsibility for the data dictionaryUnderstanding and documenting source and downstream data structures, being able to show data lineageInterpreting trends and patterns, delivering insight to the businessContributing to rapid prototypes for iterative results Skills & experience neededMinimum of 5+ years' experience in a similar role with knowledge of data governance, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, T-SQLExcel expertiseSignificant experience in defining data into measures that can be reported into PowerBI and proprietary reporting structuresExperience of database and data warehouse design requirementsA real passion for data accuracy and providing insight through MI and dataStrong documentation skillsPro-active approach; able to work on own initiativeUnderstanding of the mortgage processes and associated data Please click here to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
