We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical thinker to become our Change Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring that Changes that are deployed into the production environment follow all agreed processes.
Ensure the prescribed change process is followed (e.g. Receive, log, filter, categorise and allocate an initial priority to, in collaboration with the initiator, all Requests for Change (RFC) returning incomplete or incorrect RFC to initiator.)
Validate initial prioritisation and categorisation of RFCs.
Liaise with all necessary individuals to coordinate the building, testing, and implementation of changes as per the Forward Schedule of Changes.
Ensure correct approvals are attached on RFC's
Be vigilant in the monitoring of all changes from the build to the test stages.
Ensure an adequate review takes place of each change - before, during and after.
Chairs the Change Advisory Board (CAB) & Change Advisory Board/Emergency Committee (CAB/EC).
Impact analysis of RFC's
Implementation and significant milestone planning with Change Requestors
Prepare and deliver communications of impacts
Validate the configuration items are recorded/updated properly
Propose process improvement - provide input to policies and processes
Measuring and reporting on service through appropriate statistical reporting.
User training/education and support
Experience in leading structured ITIL processes in a large corporate environment, especially change management, and ideally with configuration management
Experience of service management and customer facing experience within multinational companies, preferably with IT operations in multiple countries and exposure to large and complex IT environment
Good knowledge and practise of an ITSM tool, and how ITIL processes are implemented
Experience in retail or similar industry with a Digital dev-ops approach
Experience of administrating an effective change management process utilising appropriate technology
Proven ability to influence and build effective working relationships with customers, peers, and external providers and ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language
Able to work in a diverse, multinational teams and to influence others to achieve positive outcomes
International orientation - prepared to travel internationally, work experience in an international context (preferable)
Strong experience in ServiceNow ITSM tool or equivalent
Ability to understand large IT infrastructure and application environments
Can influence peers and seniors within the organisation and excellent team working
Service ethos, using influencing skills to enable appropriate and timely implementation of change.
Quality orientation and attention to detail whilst delivering tight deadlines
Project planning experience (or similar) ability, able to work well with deadlines
Broad perspective of the IT function and the application of information technology for business benefit
Awareness of tools, suppliers, and market direction of change management related technologies
