A FTSE10 Oil and Gas organisation are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join one of their Data projects in London on a hybrid basis.
Role & Responsibilities:
Responsible maintaining the day to day governance, plans and progress by providing project management support
Support the establishment of policies, standards and processes that will be developed and maintained to support the data governance platform
Experience working in data projects
Must be able to clearly communicate with the team.
Must be able to clearly demonstrate command and control of meetings (as appropriate)
Can construct presentation material, and deliver it, to audiences of any level. Communicates tactfully, in a mature and controlled manner (both verbally and written).
Create , track and maintain action items and chase / follow up to resolve and close items
Extensive experience in budget management and forecasting financials
Ensures that the Product Team delivers against schedule, scope, resource/cost, and quality targets using the Agile/Scrum SDLC.
Responsible for product release coordination. Ensures smooth collaboration among extended team members for each release
Responsible for Risk Management. Anticipate and manage risks, publish a product team risk register, proactively communicate risks/issues to management in a timely manner, and offer creative solutions
Responsible for publishing and maintaining project plans, schedules, issues lists, status reports, and meeting agendas with action items
Responsible for maintaining up-to-date, basic, working knowledge of core products which his/her assigned product team is working on.
Help Scrum Master in release planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming and daily scrum activities.
Technical Requirements:
Strong facilitation skills; Ability to facilitate resources from multiple business areas to drive decisions and promote change
Excellent PowerPoint, Visio and other visualisation tool skills
Demonstrated leadership managing and motivating people and teams
Ability to unify multiple stakeholders and 3rd-party vendors across geographies and foster collaborative partnerships
Experience with annual strategic planning, prioritization of business needs, and project budgeting
Exceptional analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
Strategic operational and technical management skills. Ability to translate or bridge technical concepts to non-technical decision makers
Ability to lead structured meetings and clearly communicate tasks, expectations, and accountability
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and leading rapid change and forward thinking
Thorough understanding of PMO Methodologies and tools
Experience with systems integrations
At least 2 years work experience in project management
Prior Management Consulting/Big 4 Consulting experience a big plus
