Software Tester London / WfH to £70k

Software Tester / Developer in Test (C# .Net SQL TCP/IP) *Hybrid WfH*. Do you enjoy breaking things to see how they work and then fixing them again? Have an engineering mindset with meticulous attention to detail?

Your responsibilities as a Software Tester will encompass both manual and automated testing of newly developed backend software, you'll write and execute effective manual tests including exploratory, negative and black-box testing as well as using a variety of automation tools and coding with C#. You'll work across the full test lifecycle, defining and automating acceptance tests and working with CI/CD pipelines as part of an Agile software delivery team.

There's a remote interview / onboarding process with flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week going forward; they have invested in a refurb of the City based offices to ensure they meet new health and safety compliance and offer a collaborative, modern working environment with all the latest kit.

Requirements:

You have experience of developing and testing software using Microsoft technologies (.Net, SQL Server, Windows)

You have strong C# coding skills (will also consider Java or other OO language)

You have a good knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines

You have a good understanding of practical networking concepts (TCP/IP) and virtualised environments

You're an advocate of Agile development methodologies

You have good communication skills, are keen to work in a team environment and collaborate with others to share knowledge and improve practice

Degree educated, 2.1 or above, Computer Science preferred
