As the number 1 preferred supplier to this prestigious organisation, we have been asked to assist in the recruitment of multiple Scala Developers. Joining a dynamic team, who build solutions for the public and private sector clients, you will deliver user-centric digital services on high performance cloud platforms using emerging languages and technologies. You'll be working closely with user researchers and designers to build, deploy and support Scala Play microservices using well established software development techniques, such as TDD and pair programming. Your focus will be on delivering well tested software with assistance from your team-dedicated Quality Assurance/Tester(s), as well as getting involved with all stages of service delivery including configuring, deploying and monitoring using industry standard tooling, to truly work in a DevOps capacity Skills / EnvironmentScalaPlay Framework or similar web application framework (e.g. Springboot)MongoDBUnit testing and integration testingWorking in an agile environmentExperience of Cloud based infrastructure is desirable, along with an understanding of application security principles, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
