The Role

The Law Society is committed to improving customer experience and operational efficiencies. To enable this, we are establishing a development team to provide in-house capabilities to build upon existing and implement new solutions. Our Technical Delivery Manager role is critical to achieving this outcome. As a senior technical leader, the role holder will be advising stakeholders, responsible for core code and establishing the new team of developers. This role will also require leadership with 3rd party partners who will be helping to develop our solutions. This is an opportunity to adopt a highly visible role that can make a substantial impact on customers and colleagues alike.

What we're looking for

Our Technical Delivery Manager needs substantial development experience to direct why, what, when and how we develop our solutions. Candidates must have experience of managing stakeholders and suppliers, including effective communication skills. Line management experience is important as the role holder will need to recruit and manage developers. Demonstrating the ability to develop a multi-disciplinary technical team, including coaching, will be essential From a technical perspective, candidates will need experience of developing customer-facing solutions and integrations between them. Candidates will ideally have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Sales, Sitecore, integration including API development, and other customer-facing solutions. Directing, defining and owning code bases and associated practice expertise is essential.
