Job DescriptionSharepoint Developer/ ConsultantREMOTE- Working PST hoursRole & ResponsibilitiesParticipate in business requirements gathering through meetings and interviews with stakeholders, partners, technical resources, communication/marketing teams, content authors, and users.Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional design specifications.Conduct design review/prototype meetings with users in an iterative process, during which you develop the system prototype into a final design.Produce information architecture and technical design specification documents and obtain customer sign-off.System Deployment & AdministrationConfigure and administer SharePoint and Microsoft 365 (focused on SharePoint Online) as required by projects.Coordinate with the system administrators of other integrated systems.Coordinate with the developers of custom SharePoint features and integrations.Provide end-user documentation and train users.Produce organized and informative system administration and governance documentation.Perform knowledge transfer to administrators and helpdesk personnel.Quality AssuranceCreate test scripts and conduct thorough testing of systems being deployed, including unit testing, integrated system testing, regression testing and load testing.Manage end-user testing and acceptance testing, resolve software issues and questions, and obtain customer acceptance of the solution.Technical Support & MaintenanceProvide technical support to system users and administrators during testing, deployment, and post-deployment periods.Respond to support requests within established service level agreements.Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and participate in fixing breaks.Engage on escalated issues with other technical teams.Required Soft Skills and AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to lead meetings with customers, partners, and other consultants and create organized and informative reports, as well as comprehensive, accurate documentation.Ability to gather, analyze and process business requirements and produce system design and architecture.A talent for technical problem solving as well as creative design of business solutions.Strong analytical skills, creativity, and initiative.Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic multi-technology environment.Ability to work under tight deadlines.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work with other project consultants and developers.Skills to build and develop customer relationships.Skills & QualificationsTwo or more years of relevant experience with some of the following:SharePoint / Microsoft 365 solution design, configuration, and development.Software development using PowerShell, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, JQuery, React JS, Handlebars JS, Node JS, CAML, XML, HTML5, CSS3, SharePoint Framework (SPFx).Building workflows with Power Automate and/or Nintex Workflows.SQL Server, SQL Management Studio, SQL scripts, triggers, and stored procedures.Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Fiddler Web Debugger, Chrome/Edge DevTools, Git, and Azure DevOps.Experience with Akumina or other digital workplace solutions or web content management solutions built on SharePoint desired.Microsoft Office Desktop applications and/or Microsoft 365 servicesHigh School Diploma or Equivalency. Associate's or Bachelor's degree desired.***Must Be Authorized to work in the US without Sponsorship***
