An exciting opportunity for a software developer to utilise their knowledge of functional programming to take this fin-tech start up to the next level of their expansion.
This position allows developers to get exposure to new technologies within a challenging but rewarding environment that not only supports its employees but provides the ability to grow alongside the company.
Established since 2017, our client acknowledges that bringing a financial product to market is extremely difficult, and aims to try solve this issue by providing a service that makes this easier for its users to offer financial products. Alongside this, they are making strides to become a bank so that they can provide accounts, payments and loans to their customers.
As a Software Developer you will be expected to work as apart of the Engineering Team which is made up of 14 people including he CTO and the VP of engineering and the other specialities. Within this team, you will be required to utilise your knowledge of functional programming (Ideally Clojure, but not limited to) to help build one of the core pillars which can handle core banking, compliance, accounts and more.
An ideal candidate will have some commercial experience working with a functional programming language such as Clojure and has interest in progressing within a growing fin-tech start up.
