Qualified Electrician - Training in Renewables

Inverness (Relocation Required)

£38,000 - £46,000 DOE + Progression + Company Van + Fuel Card + Phone + IpadAre you an Electrician that is willing to relocate to Inverness and is looking to develop their career further by gaining valuable training in the thriving Renewables industry, all while taking advantage of an opportunity that will allow for long-term progression and growth within the company?With domestic scale renewable projects across the Scottish Highlands this company has it sights set on continued expansion into new locations and markets. They have a wide variety of major contracts including working with reputable names such as EON and the Scottish Government.In this role the Electrician will work as part of a 4 man team traveling to sites across the Highlands installing domestic renewable energy installations. There will be occasional weeks working away which will be provided with clear notice. They will also receive full training in Renewable systems such as Solar PV / EV and Heat Pumps as well as a generous relocation package of £8k to be paid in monthly instalments.The ideal candidate will have their 18th edition qualification, a Level 3 SVQ / NVQ in Electrical Installations and a full UK driving license. It would be desirable but not essential to have existing Solar PV / EV experience, the Inspection & Testing qualification (2391/2392) and a JIB Gold Card.This is a great opportunity for an Electrician to be upskilled in using renewable technologies, leaving their mark on a role that will allow them to progress, while learning vital skills to cope with the change towards clean energy.The role:Work as part of a 4 man team (apprentice under them + 2 heating engineers)Traveling to sites across the HighlandsOccasional weeks away - advance notice will be providedUndertake training in Solar PV / EV & Heat PumpsInstalling domestic renewable energy installationsRelocation required - to be supported with £8k relocation packageThe person:18th Edition qualificationLevel 3 SVQ / NVQ in Electrical InstallationsInspection & Testing qualification (2391/2392) (Desirable)Experience with Solar PV / EV (Desirable)JIB Gold Card (Desirable)Full UK driving license
