Java Backend Software Engineer London / WFH to £750 p/day

Java Backend Software Engineer / Developer (Java 11 Data) *Hybrid WFH £750 p/day (inside IR35)*. Global FinTech is seeking a data centric Java Software Engineer for a 12 month contract in the Market Data team.

As a Java Backend Software Engineer you'll join a cross functional Agile team working on a new real-time data platform. You'll have a focus on coding high quality Java 11 and will also be working with a C++ / Python backend and huge volumes of data using Apache Flink and Spark on complex and technically challenging systems.

You'll join colleagues in amazing City based offices 2-3 days, where you can enjoy a range of facilities and flexibility to work from home the rest of the week.

Requirements:

You have strong Java development experience

You're able to read and understand C++ code

You have experience of working with large volumes of fluid data, data modelling experience would be great

Ideally you will also be familiar with Python and Apache Flink or Spark

You're collaborative with Agile team experience
