This employer is an independent digital transformation consultancy with clients in the public and private sectors. They are looking for candidates with a keen interest in technology to join them as a Graduate Digital Consultant as part of both their Delivery and Business Consulting practices, where they'll provide you with all the support and training required to develop into a well-rounded consultant.

This role offers you the opportunity to work in high performing teams on a wide range of projects and to work closely with users to understand their needs, before translating into agile delivery items. Learning from senior consultants, you will have opportunities to try different roles on different projects before deciding your chosen specialisms.

Candidates should be open to working in different locations for clients and should be happy to travel (London/Midlands) as client needs dictate.

Main duties:

- Applying your technical awareness, communication and problem-solving skills to understand and solve client problems

- Working closely with users to understand their needs, before translating this understanding into agile delivery items

- Applying your skills and knowledge to influence technology decision-making, ensuring it provides a great, accessible user experience

- Working with (and in some cases building) a delivery team, ensuring they are motivated, collaborative and work well together for better outcomes

- Acting as an interface between client stakeholders and the delivery team

- Planning and facilitating workshops, reporting on progress and identifying obstacles for the team to overcome

- Assisting with internal projects and practice development across both Delivery and Business Consulting

Required skills:

- A good quality degree, or relevant professional qualification

- Interest and aptitude for digital technology

- Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring technical and non-technical stakeholders are all on the same page

- Ability to actively address internal risks and issues, and know when to escalate them

- Understanding of Agile methodologies, and some awareness of how to use Agile tools

- An understanding of digital development processes would be beneficial

- An understanding of the software development lifecycle including product lifecycle, project delivery, and broader business experience is desirable
