They offer flexible working arrangements for all employees.As a Technical Business Analyst, you work as part of an Agile Scrum Team, having responsibility for understanding functional requirements, working closely with our business partners, translating problems or requirements into user stories and defining acceptance criteria. Technical Business Analysts are highly customer focused and are responsible for building highly collaborative internal and external stakeholder relationships, supporting their scrum teams to achieve team goals. Analytical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills are core to effective technical business analysis.Your RoleThis role is a unique chance to work with motivated and collaborative teams on many different digital projects.As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be a key member in an Agile Scrum Team and be responsible for your team's backlog maturity from discovery through to delivery. You will absorb complex technical information and communicate effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences, often acting as a 'translator' between the business and technical teams.You will be an expert in agile techniques, driving MVP design thinking and a user-centred approach. You will work closely alongside technical colleagues and be able to demonstrate the value of an iterative methodology to wider stakeholders. You will actively participate in the BA community, encouraging collaboration and knowledge transfer across teams and disciplines. You will also coach and mentor others, supporting development needs and professional growth across the wider communityWe are keen to see candidates with a good mix of the following experiences:Good understanding of key API concepts, schema structures, payloads, transformations and XSD filesExperience of XML (and / or) J-Son Experience of the full software development lifecycleGood understanding of project roles (technical and non-technical) required for successful deliveryExcellent facilitation and influencing skillsCan facilitate discussions that build trust and understanding between stakeholdersExperience of Agile methodologies and tooling such as JIRA and ConfluenceContribution to Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives and daily stand-upsExcellent requirement elicitation and prioritisation techniques, scope management, user story and acceptance criteria writing skills. A collaborative natureExperience of working closely with engineersAbility to see the 'big picture', manage risks and dependencies across large, complex issues Experience of prioritising delivery for a scrum team across multiple projects
