Technical Lead / Web Developer London to £110k

Technical Lead / Web Developer (React TypeScript) *Remote*. Are you looking for an impactful role within one of the most exciting and successful companies in the Open banking space? Do you want to be responsible for highly technical decisions and drive technical excellence across multiple engineering teams?

Award-winning start-up with huge financial backing is seeking an accomplished technologist with experience using TypeScript and React to help bring their state-of-the-art Open Banking product to market.

As a Technical Lead / Web Developer, you'll be responsible for the technical strategy and execution of your product team, ensuring that high quality features are developed and delivered on the core Open Banking product. You will work closely with the Head of Engineering and Engineering Manager to define the overall architecture, design, and strategy whilst working alongside multiple feature teams as a technical point of excellence. You'll join a highly collaborative, tech-driven environment where you'll participate in Pair Programming to craft well-tested software with SOLID design principles and on highly scalable, performant and complex systems (APIs, HTTP, GRPC) within a containerised Microservices environment encompassing Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

This is a fully remote role allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK or alternatively you can be based in the London offices. Requirements:

You have strong software engineering skills with commercial TypeScript and React development experience

You have previous technical leadership and strategy ownership experience

You ideally have experience with Webpack

You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including OOP, Design Patterns and Data Structures

You have good knowledge of SOLID design principles

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
