We are currently seeking a C#.NET Software Developer to join our UK Development Team. The candidate will have experience with coding in C#/.NET. We need someone with strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team environment are essential. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are vital. 

 

Location: United Kingdom; then, you choose what works for you! This role can be performed 100% remotely anywhere in the UK, at one of our office locations in the UK, or a hybrid version of in-office and remote.

Reports to: Engineering Manager, Queuing Platform

Travel Requirement: None

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Software design and implementation (C# .NET or .NET Core framework)

Developing and deploying cloud native applications

Design, development, and scaling of REST APIs

Software unit testing

Software bug resolution

Experience with Postgres or similar Relational Databases

Object oriented design activities including documentation

Requirements capture and documentation

User support

Qualifications

C#, ASP.NET

Microservices and APIs

Relational databases/SQL (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Entity Framework)

BS or BA Science degree (preferably: maths, physics or computing) 

NICE TO HAVE: HTML5, WPF

NICE TO HAVE: AngularJS, BackboneJS, Typescript

NICE TO HAVE: Mobile web development

NICE TO HAVE: AWS experience

NICE TO HAVE: Experience of working with hardware/firmware
