.NET Developer - Circa £65K + Bonus & Benefits - Fully RemoteOverview:
A leading financial company that are currently going through a major digital transformation project require a .NET Developer to join their dynamic team on a fully remote basis.
Role & Responsibilities:
Delivery of enterprise-quality software, web, and API solutions on Microsoft Platforms Making key contributions to Agile events; Daily Stand-Ups, Product Demos, Backlog Refinement workshops and RetrospectivesConducting and participating in code and architecture reviews, supporting continuous learning and knowledge sharing across the team.Adhering to in-house engineering and architectural principles which follow industry best-practices, and providing expert opinion and insights on how those can be improved and evolved in a constantly changing technology environmentSupporting our colleagues in the Cyber and Information Security Team; ensuring our software meets the required standards for privacy, security, compliance, and regulationProduction of technical documentation, wikis, and release notes, where required, to support all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle.Reviewing existing software, systems, architectures, and processes; providing expert opinion and proposals for improvements, innovation, and automation.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proficient in C# programming with demonstrable expert-level knowledge of .NET Core and .NET FrameworkStrong knowledge of Object-Oriented Development and Service Oriented ArchitecturesExtensive knowledge of Software Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and advanced-level engineering approaches, such as DI/IoC, CQRS, DDDExperience designing and building modern and developer-friendly APIs with OpenAPI / Swagger specifications using ASP.NET Core.Experience building scalable and fault-tolerant applications and platforms using message-queues, event sourcing and distributed caching.Accomplished in developing Websites and Web Applications using ASP.NET (MVC, Razor Pages, Web Forms, Web API)Proficient in Database Development on MS SQL Server with extensive knowledge of T-SQL and relational data modelling
