We're building the bank of the future, and we need your help.Our Cloud Services Risk & Control team is looking for a Cloud Risk Lead. You'll be joining Cloud Services supporting three key areas: Operational risk; Strategic Initiatives and central risk activities. Being the first line of defence with the aim to understand, handle and mitigate operational risk, the team has been built to assess and assure 3rd Party service providers as well as Group owned tenants on cloud service Providers like Azure, GCP and AWS.With the proliferation of Cloud Services in recent times the potential to deliver innovative, cost effective, scalable and quick-to-market business solutions has increased significantly. Gone are the days where substantial capital was required to build and maintain data centres to deliver IT services - the start-ups and FinTechs of tomorrow just need an outstanding idea and an AWS subscription. Combine this with the Group's Strategic Review ambition of improving our digital capabilities, building on our multi-channel model, digitising the Group, modernising our data and IT architecture and the reason to consider Cloud services begins to write itself.The role:The Cloud Risk Lead will be responsible for the Continuous Risk Management of Cloud Service risk profile. Leading the Cloud Services business in their identification, scoring, quality assuring and recording of risks in the relevant Group Risk System. The role requires involvement in leading and surfacing risk & controls through various governance forums and committees. Having the ability to problem solve is key as new events and risk situations materialise readily. You'll be working closely with a wide range of customers, internal and external to Cloud Services, which will require strong communication skills, written and verbal.What you'd get involved with:Enabling the Cloud Services business to implement the Cloud Services approach to continuous risk management (CRM) through ongoing management of the Cloud Risk 'self-attestation' in line with 1RCSAFacilitate the BAU management and ongoing Quality Assurance (QA) of the Cloud Services risk profile on Service Now (SNOW) and RCSAEncourage decision-making across Cloud Services by leading monthly forums and risk surgeries and to drive continuous improvement and simplificationBuild positive relationships with a variety of customers across Cloud Services and wider, to enable our Cloud adoption journeyPlay an active role as a member of the Cloud Risk leadership team, to encourage continuous improvement, open communication and educationWhat's needed to be considered for this job?Experience of leading on risk management initiatives across a business area and use of Group systems such as RCSA and Service Now (SNOW)A keen eye for detail and challenging approach to provide quality assurance across the Cloud Services Cloud risk profilePractical understanding of Lloyds Cloud Control Framework and its application across CloudAwareness of the key risks facing Cloud technology and the general Risk & Control environment across Cloud Service Provider's (CSPs)You will also have a good mix of the below capabilities:A creative thinker who can help the business to problem solve and work closely with a diverse group of partners across the business and 3 lines of defence.Be experienced in planning ahead and being able to articulate and identify and prioritise delivery risksBeing comfortable with challenging the status quo whilst continuing to ensure accurate and timely deliveryWhat will you get in return?On top of our team ethos we're genuine about both equal opportunity and our colleagues representing the communities we serve - developing and advancing the best in our people through personal development, training, qualifications and upskilling on the job.The sheer scale and size of Lloyds brings great career development opportunities and we are set to continue to grow our Engineering functions across the group for many years to come.Together we'll make it possible…
