Product / Service: Fintech SaaS - Leading supplier of investment workflow and data distribution services to the UK financial advisory market. Our software integrates with most of the leading investment platforms and back-office systems in the UK.

Sprint Enterprise Technology is an established, award winning and fast-growing provider of cloud-based SaaS solutions to the Financial Services sector.

Sprint is re-defining the way investment platforms, financial advisers and their software systems, report, communicate, and exchange data. Having successfully launched FINIO, a new data hub, connecting investment platforms with the many software systems used by financial advisers. Sprint are expanding its development team to support the roll-out of this exciting new product.

The Senior SQL Developer Role:

As a past winner of the most disruptive financial sector technology award, we are rapidly forging an enviable reputation across the industry. This is an opportunity for an experienced Microsoft SQL Developer / hands on Database Architect, to work closely alongside our Chief Data Architect (ex Microsoft SQL Team), contributing to data centric solutions that are redefining aspects of the wealth management financial technology sector.

The challenges of the last 24 months have only increased the need for the services that we provide; and allowed us to create new roles that allow for fully remote working. Your location is not a barrier to working for us as long as you are able to work from home.

What you'll need to succeed in this role:

+ You will be skilful in the design and build of high performance / high volume database architectures in TSQL using SQL Server features including Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers, UDF's, Merges, and Agent Jobs.

+ You will be skilful in performance tuning (using all available tools / techniques), refactoring existing SQL, monitoring high availability clusters, and patching live systems.

+ A key member of the team in a growing business, you must be a natural communicator.

Additional useful skills and experience:

These include: SQL CLR's, SSRS, Power BI/SQL Reporting, Power BI / on premise SSAS integration, experience of hybrid / full migration from on premise SQL to Azure.
