Adapting is the key to success. You'll help us adopt new ways of working.

We're looking for a Productivity and Collaboration Manager to govern and manage the secure adoption and usage of the Met's Microsoft 365 capabilities. You'll be key in the successful implementation and delivery of O365 productivity and collaboration tools for use by the 50,000 staff who make up the Metropolitan Police Service. It means you'll be at the forefront of our ability to deliver new and evolving digital capabilities, helping the Met adopt new ways of working.

Your many years of experience governing Office 365 adoption and usage in a commercial IT environment will make you the perfect fit for this role. You'll act as the single point of contact for all internal and external audits relating to Office 365, as well as being responsible for reviewing the Office 365 governance model documentation. It'll see you propose, create and update spot-on policies and guidelines about using Office 365. That's why you're confident in your ability to influence wider teams and senior leadership in challenging situations.

You'll support our IT Security teams on everything to do with Office 365, including information protection and sharing, data leak protection, data labelling, data privacy, tenant policies and reporting. Plus, you'll facilitate the introduction of features and tools, based on business demands - ensuring compliance with data privacy, security and best practice.

To be successful in this role, it goes without saying that you'll be an expert in Microsoft 365 technologies, particularly Productivity and Collaboration, Power Platform and Office Online. You'll be an all-round excellent communicator with experience of conflict and issue resolution, and you'll be a strong collaborator, facilitator and negotiator.

Now more than ever is the time to join the Met Police. We want our team to be representative of our country and are looking to recruit people who understand and reflect the diverse communities we engage with every day.

Besides the rewarding nature of the job itself, a competitive salary and a Civil Service pension, you'll also benefit from excellent career and professional development. If you're looking to advance, we'll support your progress.

Click the apply now button below and start your career at the Met. Applications will be via a detailed CV, Personal Statement (500 words max) and online application form. Your personal statement should evidence your suitability for this role based on the key knowledge/skills/experience and attached Productivity and Collaboration Manager Job Description.  (NB. Please do not attach 2 copies of your CV).

Completed applications must be submitted by 1 September 2022.

We view diversity as fundamental to our success. To tackle today's complex policing challenges, we need a workforce made up from all of London's communities. Applications from across the community are therefore essential.

As a Disability Confident Committed Employer the Met have committed to ensuring that disabled people and those with long-term health conditions have the opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations.
