Our teams also focus on maintaining service and the key aspects of risk and data reflecting the Value Stream's vision of Powering access to Global Markets through the energy and focus of brilliant teams.What will I focus on in this role?You'll work within a team that is responsible for the development and maintenance of software products & projects focused on applications to support our front office sales & trading colleagues. Software you'll support focuses on Rates, Derivates, SWAPS and Bonds to name a few products, mainly developed using Java & C#. Trade booking, pricing and risk are the specific capabilities supported.Your role would be to coordinate delivery of specific programmes/ projects within that portfolio, working with a broad array of stakeholders and business areas, as well as a number of technical application teams to deliver outcomes that are critical to our clients, the Commercial Bank and Lloyds Banking Group.We use a combination of Agile & Waterfall project delivery, modern DevOps engineering practices and are always trying to continually improve & develop.The area, or Lab, you will work within will be made up of multidisciplinary professionals including engineers, analysts, architects, business users, product owners and anyone else required to deliver your programme or projects successfully.You'll also support some Scrum Master style tasks, and have responsibility for product prioritisation & backlog management.Specific activities which you'll be responsible for include things like;Mobilising new projects & resourcePlanning activitiesGovernance & control activitiesBacklog prioritisationEstablishing and managing risks and inter-dependencies,Coordinating with software engineers, product owners, analysts, customers, technical specialists amongst others to ensure successful deliveryStakeholder managementReporting & trackingWhat do we need to see from applicants?We like people who come from diverse cultural backgrounds however we need to see the following as a minimum to be considered for interview;A prior background of as project manager/product owner with experience running software engineering projects within an Agile environment.
