Activate Learning are recruiting for an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher in IT and gaming to join us at Guildford College.
You will have a genuine passion for IT and/or Gaming with the ability to plan and deliver exciting and purposeful lessons to our level 3 students.
This is a full-time, permanent position.

About you
Whilst previous teaching experience and qualification would be an advantage, it is not a requirement. As long as you have the qualifications to teach and demonstrate the attributes to be an inspirational teacher, we can provide you with the necessary training, development and support to equip you to teach in the FE sector.
You will be responsible for providing expectational mentoring and pastoral support to our students throughout the duration of their course. You will have the ability to plan and deliver high quality and engaging lessons to a diverse group of learners and to carry out initial and on-going assessments to ensure the students are on track with their learning goals and achieving excellent results.
It is desirable if you have a PGCE and worked within education as a teacher, but this is not essential
You will have worked in the industry and are either Gaming or IT specialist
You will have a passion for using this experience to develop the skills of the future generation.
In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
