Cloud Infrastructure Engineer vacancy for a well-funded scale-up, recent valuation of $240M, developing Machine Learning solutions and bringing together the magic of real-life with virtual reality… the possibilities are endless! This is an excellent opportunity to work on class-leading tech, focused on developing new ways for humans and machines to interact. You will be taking up a key role in the further design, development, implementation and support of their cloud-based R&D platforms. Key responsibilities include:Development and support of their Cloud system, specifically infrastructure, APIs, and service development in PythonFull ownership of the service and advising on strategic technical direction for the wider systemWork closely Research teams to help improve the platform infrastructure, predict potential needs and continuously improve iteration speed and user experienceHelp define the future technical direction and architecture for the platformsExpertise needed for this role:Proven industry experience in Cloud Computing and Web EngineeringAdvanced Python development skills with code deployed in production environmentsUnderstanding of containerisation (Kubernetes, Docker) and virtualisation (vSphere)IaC (Ansible, Terraform, Packer)AWS expertise - including EC2, S3, Cloudformation, VPC, Autoscaling and SQSPostgreSQL databasesCloud security best practiceThis is a role where you can play an important part in the company's growth and success.    Excellent package on offer, including stock options, Hybrid + Remote working, Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship.
