We're looking for an Executive Assistant to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract to provide first class support to and on behalf of the Chief Information and Digital Officer. The ideal person for the job will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail. Given the changing nature of the Executive landscape, the CIDO will rely on the Executive Assistant for flexibility and foresight, while maintaining confidences related to high-level systems and operations.
 
Specifically the job holder will: Plan and orchestrate work to ensure the Chief Information priorities are met, functional goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld
Have a primary responsibility of supporting the CIDO, as well as providing support to the wider Leadership team as directed to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations run efficiently
Maintain and refine internal processes and systems that help to expedite work more efficiently
Manage communication between senior management and employees, liaising with internal and external Executives on various projects and tasks
Organise and attend meetings and ensure the CIDO is well prepared for meetings
Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Undertake background research on ad hoc topical areas related to the business as requested by the CIDO and present findings in an appropriate format using Word, PowerPoint and Excel. About You Required skills include:
 
Previous experience working in an EA role or equivalent supporting at C-suite level preferably in the Finance sector
Experience of working in an Agile /Product model environment would be beneficial in relation to future ways of working
Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal
Must demonstrate a capability to anticipate workloads, events and issues to prepare the CIDO for future engagements and accountabilities.
Proficient in Outlook and a solid understanding and experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Able to multitask and adapt quickly in a challenging and pressured environment
Excellent planning and organising skills, with an emphasis on priority management
Proven integrity at operating at a Senior /Executive level with the ability to keep Society and Operations confidences
Budget management and control experience would be desirable.
