Lancashire County Council's in-house Digital Services team have created a new position for a Digital Strategy Manager to continue their career in a dynamic, innovative department with over 450 staff.  

This vacancy will utilise your skills and experience enabling you to support the transformation of our Digital Services and add real value to the Council and its citizens. Your role will give you opportunities to: 

Own and drive the delivery of the Digital Strategy for LCC's staff and citizens, making Lancashire a great place to live, work, visit and prosper.

Engage and network with other public sector bodies to align outcomes and best practice for the Digital agenda for Lancashire.

Manage a team of professionals whose focus is delivering a range of rapid projects using agile methodologies to deliver outcomes quickly.

Implement a new low-code platform and agile squad to support the requests from LCC service leads for rapid business outcomes.

Candidate:?We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who is eager to demonstrate and use their expertise of authoring and implementing a digital strategy in a public sector environment to ensure projects align to the strategy principles, and to instigate and deliver new projects to meet the strategic vision. You will have detailed knowledge of:

Driving actions from a digital strategy to deliver on the vision.

Establishing and nurturing successful links between a large Digital Services department and its stakeholders at strategic and tactical levels, including suppliers and other public sector bodies.

Providing high level strategic advice to a range of business stakeholders related to the principles in the Digital Strategy.

Influencing and encouraging buy-in to the Digital agenda for staff and citizens

Running a team of scrum masters and developers using a low-code platform
