The company are global business, spanning 3 continents, specialising in sub-contract manufacturing processes. Having been around for almost a century, this company have continued to grow and expand into new markets and are looking for a Process Engineer to help with their expansion and join their close-knit team at their Newport site by offering a generous package as well the opportunity for the right candidate to develop themselves within the business.

The day to day responsibilities for this role will be to oversee production process and implement new processes with the overall gaol to improve quality and reliability. The successful person will work alongside the continuous improvement team and assist with training staff on new processes.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding pf robot programming and have experience implementing lean methodology improvements within manufacturing.

The Role:

*Manufacturing Engineer/ Production Engineer / Process Engineer

*Working with a team to resolve process issues and identify areas for improvement

*Implementing changes to improve productivity, quality and cost

*Ensuring regulatory requirements and standards are met

The Person:

*Manufacturing Engineer/ Process Engineer / Production Engineer

*Experience working in a Manufacturing environment (Aerospace, Special Metals or Automotive)

*Extensive knowledge of mechanical principals (qualifications ideally)

*Knowledge and experience robot programming ideal but not essential
