Together we make it possible! What will I do? As Quality Engineering Lead for Trade you will be responsible for leading the QE activities across a number of feature teams. This includes shaping and planning test strategies, through to managing and producing detailed test schedules and plans, to effective execution - all the while leading your team to ensure high quality outputs. You'll also play a key part in delivering our transformation agenda through driving test automation and dev ops / tooling. It will also involve shaping how we do testing and determining the strategic direction of the QE teamsEncouraging the right culture is key and you'll strive to promote a "Fail Fast, Learn Faster" approach within your team, experimenting new ways of engineering, to act as a change agent for engineering and team culture. Embracing a test and learn approach, with a focus on learning and continuous improvement.You should have A prior background with Quality Engineering backed up by a proven track record of QA delivery across large complex programmes.An ability to manage multiple streams of application delivery through end to end testing, including NFT and Security Phases - DAST, SAST, SCA, PEN.An understanding of Evergreen with experience in ensuring assurance is embedded into DevOps pipelines.Experience in the delivery of large scale automated testing.Proven experience and ability to coordinate and lead large teams across multiple platforms in various locations.Experience of being able to apply previously acquired knowledge to define Programme test strategies and able to demonstrate different test approaches based on previous knowledge of process, application and resource availability - an ability to face into issues and think creatively.Confidence in the usage of industry QA tooling and applying this across the E2E Test lifecycle.Strong business and partner collaboration experience and skills. You'll be comfortable presenting and updating at Programme director level / Steering Committees and be able to influence outcomes positively.Experience in Finance, Group Change Governance (including Audit), Risk Management and Full Test Cycle Traceability.You'll be able to turn complex technical testing into Senior stakeholder packs for effective communication.Experience in managing events and an ability to lead on Incident Management and Business Testing in Production on cutover.What type of personal skills do we look for?"This is a technical role, but your people skills are often more important."Brilliant people and communication skills!
