Java Developer - Algo Trading

Salary up to £80K + 15% BonusWe are hiring a Java Developer to join a prestigious multi-asset trading platform provider based in the financial heart of London. You will join our OEMS (Order execution management system) team building on our Greenfield core Java system supporting the firm's critical growth to both the buy and sell side. As a Java Developer you be working in core multithreaded Java 8, creating low latency, high throughput realtime data systems. You'll bring your expertise in algorithms, multithreaded Java development, data sets and concurrency to the role.We can offer our Java Developer :Technically complex and challenging multithreaded Java 8 engineeringBuilding out projects from scratch using very low level core Java (not reliant on frameworks)Unrivaled exposure to multi-asset tradingGreat exposure to working with the front office trade teams across multiple financial institutions (Trade houses, investment banks, Hedge funds...) We can also offer our Java Developer a growth mindset environment surrounded by gifted engineers, working in a small team of about 5-7 developers (spread across 6 teams). This position will have you working alongside the Head of OEMS. We have a relaxed work culture that rewards and supports Java Developer, it's an environment that is highly difficult to find, especially within the Financial Services industry!Our work from home policy following covid will allow 2 days a week remotely from home.
