Our Client is a global logistics and distribution organisation. They operate in 44 countries around the world. Their global revenue exceeds £10 billion per annum and they employ almost 160,000 people.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a SOC Analyst for a 5 Month contract based remotely.

Purpose of the Role:

• will perform incident triage and assessment - Incident may not be triaged in good time leading to an increased risk of cyber attack.

As a SOC Analyst you will be responsible for:

• Deals with critical incidents
• Carries out vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to assess the resilience of the organization and to isolate areas of weakness that need attention
• Reviews alerts, threat intelligence, and security data. Identifies threats that have entered the network, and security gaps and vulnerabilities currently unknown

What we require from the candidate:

• Tier 3 or Level 3 SOC Analyst experience
• Content & Device Tuning Recommendations
• experience of SIEM
• Sentinel (desirable not essential) - Azure Sentinel- Kusto Query Language
• 5 years experience in the role
