Mobile Developer / Software Engineer (Android Kotlin) *Hybrid WfH*. Are you a skilled Mobile Developer with strong Android skills seeking an opportunity to progress your career?You could be joining a successful software house, working on challenging and stimulating projects to create the latest generation of products aimed at the automotive sector and high performance cars (already embedded in over 30 million cars worldwide).As a Mobile Developer you will work across the full technology stack developing performant customisations to Android system level components and built-in apps for a new product line. A typical day could include managing the build system, integrating of the hardware platform including writing device drivers, performance optimisation and native Android app development. You'll be supported to learn new skills as part of a friendly and collaborative Agile team.There's a remote interview following that you can work from home most of the time, initially you'll be expected in the Cambridge office 1-2 days a week to pick stuff up but after that you can pop in once or twice a month depending on your preference.Requirements:You have strong Android engineering experience across the full technology stackYou have experience with KotlinYou have a good understanding of modern development and deployment best practices e.g. CI/CDIdeally you will have some experience of writing device drivers and integrating with hardware (doesn't have to be commercial)You're collaborative with great communication skillsAs a Mobile Developer you will earn a competitive salary (to £75k) plus benefits.Apply now or call to find out more about this Mobile Developer / Software Engineer (Android Kotlin) opportunity.
