DV Cleared Cloud Software Engineer | 12 month contract | ASAP Start! Jefferson Frank are working with an exception Consultancy who are working within the public sector. They hoping to secure a Cloud Engineer/Developer to join a fantastic team on a 12 month contracted basis. (see spec below!) The DI Solutions team provides client-side technical support to the UK MoD and Defence Digital. This role provides Cloud Engineering expertise to inform client's plans to migrate a range of legacy systems onto MoD Cloud solutions. It would be a great opportunity for a Cloud and DevOps practitioner to build experience in a client-facing, advisory role.To be successful, candidates should have prior experience with AWS and/or Azure; a familiarity with Linux; an understanding of containers (Docker, Kubernetes); and some prior experience with .NET and/or Java. Knowledge of MoD Cloud environments managed by Digital Foundry/ASDT would be advantageous, but not essential. HLC is required for this position. The role would suit remote working, with regular client interaction using MS Teams, and travel to the client's locations in Cambridgeshire and west London.

Key Duties:

Providing technical advice on Cloud concepts and services.

Propose and design suitable Trails and Proofs of concept.

Inform planning for Cloud migration.

Required competencies:

AWS or Azure

Linux

Containers (Docker)

.NET or Java

Desired Competencies:

Prior MOD experience

Architecture experience
