Principal Test Engineer / Test Architect Kingston-upon-Thames to £90k

Principal Test Engineer / Test Architect (SDET Automation). Are you a talented testing professional who has extensive experience within modern QA environments? Are you looking for a highly impactful and influential role where you will be responsible for driving testing improvements across a fast-paced tech driven company?

You could be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking global E-commerce within the travel agency space.

As a Principal Test Engineer / Test Architect, you will be responsible for building a community of technical excellence and ensuring the highest level of technical quality. You will act as a testing evangelist, shaping and modernising the QA structure, championing best practises, and driving automation techniques and principles across the team. As a Principal Test Engineer / Test Architect, you will be a key figure within the business who is confident exploring and implementing new technologies to consistently improve processes and will act as a technical lead, motivating and supporting the teams through collaboration and peer discussions.

Based in South-west London / Surrey, you will be working in a friendly and informal team environment. You will be able to work remotely 3 - 4 days a week.

Requirements:

You are a testing professional who has worked within modern test environments previously

You have experience working with modern tech stacks and principles including cloud technologies, CI/CD, TDD, BDD, Agile

You have extensive experience of implementing and promoting test automation

You have a technical background in any OO programming language (C# desirable)

You are consistently coming up with new ideas and ways of working

You can understand and learn diverse technologies, techniques, and testing topics

You have excellent technical leadership skills

You have strong communication and collaboration skills
