Functieomschrijving We are looking for an IT Storage & Backup Technology Specialist to join Airbus Defence & Space. This is a hybrid role and the location is flexible - you may work at either our Portsmouth, Newport or Stevenage sites depending on your location and preference. ADS is implementing the program RACES (Reach AD Cyber Enhanced Security) to combat the main Cyber Security Threats that are pose a threat to our business. The main goal of the program is to continue to increase the level of resilience against major cybersecurity threats. Your Tasks & Accountabilities Guide and supports the selection of the appropriate technologies and/or methodologies Update the company guidelines and policies regarding the use of a specific technology or methodology Drive the update of the learning framework based on the known technology Advise on specific topics related to the technology and/or methodology Monitor technology and/or methodology trends and support the teams to apply these within the Airbus Environment Act as country representative of the project and interface for the local business representatives Coordinate project activities across all involved teams This position will require a national security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities. Desired Skills & Experience Qualification in computing science or related discipline OR equivelent experience Knowledge in DRP solutions, IT Storage & Backup technologies and Ransomware protection Experience in Storage & Backup and Ransomware protection deployment projects Knowledge in following areas: Cloud storage, Network and Security Not a 100% match?
