Here at Airbus Space and Defence we have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Security Analyst to be Based in the Network Operations centre at Hawthorn, Corsham  to support the delivery of the Skynet Services Continuity Contract.   You will be a Technical security expert responsible for overseeing and providing domain knowledge for operational cyber security management and incident support. Day to day checking of security processes, log analysis, liaison with the SOC and NOC manager.  Analysis of and periodic checking of system logs. As the role is based at our Airbus Defence and Space offices in Corsham, and involves working within the UK Defence industry, you will be required to be able to be security cleared to a UK SC level.  Your day to day tasks will be to; Identify and evaluate the latest emerging cyber security threats  Produce technical and non-technical reports for the business to evaluate the efficacy of security policies. Exercise and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans Conduct security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis Perform both internal and external security audits Monitor identity and access management, including monitoring for abuse of permissions by authorised system users Analyse and investigate security alerts or breaches and coordinate incident response  Audit suppliers to identify risks and assess policy/contractual compliance  Things we need for you; Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA Network+ or Certified Information Systems Security Practitioner holder In-depth knowledge and experience of vulnerability management, protective monitoring, incident management and threat intelligence Working knowledge and understanding of the concepts of security compliance, assurance, risk, disaster recovery, data protection and industry security standards (ISO27001/2, NIST, Cyber Essentials etc.) Holding Developed Vetting (DV) What Airbus Can Offer You in return A competitive salary with annual profit share an ever growing list of company benefits including enhanced pay for maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave  Very strong, very real career development options across our transnational, market leading company.
