The IT Business Analyst works directly with the Human Resources, Industrial Security and Facilities Management teams within Airbus across each division. 
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for finding solutions for complex business problems, discovering business needs and identifying opportunities. 
You will also be involved in the harmonisation of the application landscapes within Airbus Defence and Space and across divisional boundaries within Airbus.  The successful candidate will need to be eligible to gain UK SC Security Clearance to undertake the role.  Tasks & Accountabilities
You will be responsible for analysing business needs and translating them into adequate Statement of works (SoW) as the baseline for IM solutions. 
You will also manage and implement updates to existing applications and maintenance activities guided by the needs, costs and plans agreed with business key contacts
Other duties will include: Helping to identify what data is available and relevant, including internal and external data sources, to support application integration based on the requirements collected Build requirements, specifications, business processes and business cases related to the proposed solutions. Ensures quality of service delivery and business-user satisfaction. Identify areas of improvement in business processes providing possible IM solutions compliant with the IM strategy. Evaluate the relevance of the Information Systems for the business domain. Formalise, consolidate and drive the development of the information systems.   Responsible for managing the information technology development within the business domain.  Work with the Data Protection, IM Security Officer, System Architect and Workers' Council to ensure that the solution proposed/used is compliant with the regulatory and security policies in place. Skills & Experience
You will be business focused with strong analytical and problem solving skills 
Having programming and database knowledge is essential in order to be able to quickly bring business needs through to the discovery phase.
Excellent written and communications skills are required so that reports and findings can be presented in a way that can be easily understood by the business stakeholders. Bachelor degree in computer science or related field; Master degree preferred. Solid knowledge and good experience of software design and application development techniques. Project Management experience, Proven in delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality. Solid understanding of the project office documentation templates and the processes for determining when and how they are required. Knowledge of Lean / agile will be advantageous .  Knowledge of the business areas HR, Security and FM including their processes.  Flexible, team worker and open minded to change and also flexibility to travel Ability to work in stressful situations About IM (Information Management) at Airbus
