Functieomschrijving We are looking for a Technical Manager to join our Airbus Cyber Security team at Airbus Defence and Space in Newport, South Wales. Reporting directly to the Senior Technical Manager you will be responsible for leading the engineering team on a project, ensuring that the specified architecture is implemented in a cost efficient manner that will meet the needs of the schedule. Your Tasks & Accountabilities Establishing, maintaining and communicating the engineering programme, budget and work breakdown structure Engineering deliverables throughout the life of the project Manage the technical assurance of the development, ensuring that the development is compliant to the requirements and architecture as set out by the System Architect and that it is carried out observing the processes as agreed with the Chief Engineer You will ensure that different specialist engineering teams are directed and co-ordinated to achieve work packages, including managing engineering requirements, risks and issues

Desired Skills & Experience Degree in an engineering, mathematical or science-based subject or equivalent experience Extensive experience of managing and co-ordinating multi-discipline engineering teams Experienced in Systems Engineering and associated processes/lifecycles Able to gain UK Security Clearance to a SC/DV level Not a 100% match?
