I'm currently looking to recruit a Head of Engineering to join a pioneering software house experiencing 70% year-on-year growth and half of their $32 million funding going towards engineering whose product has over 700,000 users.The Head of Engineering will be working in conjunction with the CTO to work on the delivery of new products and architecture for large-scale production. As the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for 3 teams between 5-7 engineers. The main focus will be to drive the long-term technical strategy and provide expertise throughout the development lifecycle to drive the product roadmap.Key responsibilities for the Head of Engineering:Set the foundations for the growth of the Product & Engineering teamsDefine the roadmap for the engineering teamCreate a productive and successful environmentSet up a strong emphasis on automation and data-driven engineering cultureKey skills for the Head of Engineering:8+ Years experience working in software development and managementHands-on experience working with cloud technologies (AWS) and SaaSExperience with Frontend technologies like React and TypeScriptProven expertise in building microservices on AWSExperience with relational databases and NoSQL solutionsThe potential Head of Engineering will have the chance to work remotely across the UK and would be happy to travel to their office once a quarter for team social activities, planning sessions and meetings.Why Apply?The Head of Engineering role comes with a generous salary of up to £130k depending on experience, performance-related bonus, employee training budget, and shares in the business.With interviews taking place the week commencing the 8th of August, hit the apply button to be considered!
