Global video tech company for the production and broadcast industries is expanding its Bristol office! They are looking to hire a QA Engineer to join their growing QA/Test team as they continue to develop their new range of cloud and web based products/services The offer hybrid and flexible working (minimum of 1 day per week in the office - however can be flexible for the right person) and have offices in central Bristol. This is an all-round test and QA role, that will include performing functional, negative, stress and regression testing, plus research and develop new test automation tools to assist product test execution and reporting. Key skills/experience required:Ideally circa 3 yrs of experience in a software QA or Test role - ideally with experience of cloud or web environmentsKnowledge of Linux, Windows and virtual OS environments.Use of Jira or similar issue tracking systemFamiliarity with source code control (e.g. git) and CI / CD systems (e.g. TeamCity)Programming capability in C#Experience with testing REST APIs (e.g. using PostMan)Automation of QA processes (e.g. working with Selenium)Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, and/or BASH is desirable (but not essential)Knowledge of digital audio and video/codecs and associated container metadata, or use of QC tools for file-based video audio and streaming packages would also be a significant advantage.
