Jefferson Frank are working with a very well established technology partner who are seeking to onboard x3 Java Engineers.

x 3 Java Developers (Must have strong API experience)

Working for a leading consultancy that specialises in delivering complex IT project solutions, largely within the provate and Public Sectors.

As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong coding ability with Java. You will have demonstrable commercial experience designing, building, and implementing robust, platform-independent, API solutions that work seamlessly across both on-prem and cloud-based applications (AWS).

Responsibilities:

• Build and implement API functionality from the product backlog
• Work closely with other team members to ensure that features meet business requirements

Technical Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of REST APIs
• Commercial experience designing and developing consumer-driven APIs that follow API-first design principles
• Understanding of API based documentation standards such as Swagger or OpenAPI format
• Have a strong background in commercial software development with demonstrable in-depth Java programming knowledge, ideally Java 8 & above
• Expert Cloud (AWS) computing knowledge, understanding and experience
• Some CI/CD and Microservices experience would be great but no mandatory
