An opportunity has become available for a Product Characterisation Engineer to join a leading semiconductor company that works on Mixed Signal Audio chips based in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will come from a validation background and will sit between the Product test Engineers and the Validation Engineers

As a Product Characterisation Engineer you will have a number of responsibilities that include;

• Debug silicon and board issues
• Develop and implement tests
• Develop automated tests
• Test and failure analysis

To be considered for the Product Characterisation Engineer vacancy you must have prior experience in a similar position / field, experience with mixed IC testers, background in mixed signal and experience with Python, LabVIEW or TestStand. A background in power management/ experience with PMICs is highly advantageous.
