Sogeti UK is renowned for being the Testing & Quality Engineering specialists and we're looking for talented individuals with a passion for quality engineering and testing who want to join a market leading organisation as a Software Development Engineer in Test.

Key Requirement:

Experience in designing, implementing automation testing solutions at speed using standard tooling such as Selenium, Specflow, Cucumber, JBehave, Rational Integration Tester, SOAP UI, REST-Assured, UFT, SonarQube

Hands-on experience in one or more automation frameworks, including

Open source such as Karate

Hybrid

Data Driven

Hands on experience in one or more DevOps and CI/CD tools including, Bamboo, Jenkins, Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet, Ansible, Maven, GitLab

Experience in at least one OO programming language such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python

Aiding others in creating automation testing solutions and supporting them through the development phase

Experienced in automation engineering to assist in the identification of problem resolution including defect deep dives and Root cause analysis (RCA)

Should have strong Stakeholder Management, Vendor management & Conflict resolution skills.

Experience in designing and reviewing Test Strategies and Plans as well as contributing to Test Policy

Experience in creating test estimates and project planning of the work of self and others

Able to represent complex information through reports and formal presentation

Able to lead teams of more junior members often including client team members

Established as Subject Matter Expert to coach and develop more junior team members
