Mechanical Design Engineer (Defence)

Swindon - Commutable from Oxford, Chippenham, Cirencester

£45'000 - £50'000 + Progression + Training + Share Scheme + Bonus + Holiday + Pension

Are you a mechanical design engineer looking for an opportunity offering fantastic progression through the business & specialised training, within an organisation owned by a defence powerhouse?

Do you have experience within mechanical design for power solutions, mission critical products, telecommunication products or the satcom industry?

This company is a frontrunner within solutions for the defence, cellular and satcom markets and has recently had large investment. Keeping an SME feel this company is part of a larger group who give it the backing to continue to innovate.

Within this role you will help develop new products from cradle to grave, in line with the rigorous demands of the industry - followed by introducing the products to manufacturing.

The role offers fantastic in house training and chances to progress through to management.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working within a similar industry, ideally with a working knowledge of Solidworks.
