Senior Software Engineer

Glasgow - Hybrid - Maximum once a week in the office

£40,000 - £60,000 + Shares + Progression + Flexibility + Hybrid

Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join a rapidly growing company who will offer you a great progression route and the chance to lead a team of 3-4 engineers.

This company have progressed significantly since they were established last decade, becoming a real force in the Energy Sector. Due to growth, they are looking for a new Senior Engineer to lead a team of 3-4 developers.

In this role you will have the chance to gain leadership qualities quite early in your career. You will be involved with the companies product development and testing, taking ownership of their product area, working on the software which organises the companies data.

They are looking for a Backend Engineer who has at least 3 years' experience with languages such as Java, Python, Go or C++. Experience with data analysis such as machine learning would be beneficial but not essential.

The Role:

- Backend development, designing and developing software

- Leading a small team

- Hybrid and flexible, coming into the Glasgow office for rare meetings

The Person:

- Backend Developer skilled with Java, Python, C++ or Go

- Motivated and hungry to lead a team and progress in their career

- Experience in database software, such as PostgreSQL
