Field Service / Support Engineers

My highly successful IT client seeks Field Service / Support Engineer with good Windows desktop / laptop and peripheral skills to perform variety of roles across the south east and UK.
You will have skills in setting up IT hardware, basic PC / Printer configuration, Troubleshooting Good Communication skills (verbal and written) Able to work alone or in team. Use initiative Follow process and procedures.
These exciting roles will enable you to develop your career with a mixture of formal and on the job training.
You will have a mixture of the following skills as your daily responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Hands on desktop and server hardware experience
Build
Troubleshooting
RAID Configuration
OS Installation / Config
Hardware imaging - both deployment and creation
Rollout/Desktop deployment
Physical deployment in larger scale experience corporate environment
Build prep / admin work around these type of projects
Desk moves
Basic network configuration skills
An understanding of IP addressing
Basic Router / Switch config
Understanding of DNS, DHCP
Helpdesk Experience
1st / 2nd line (some 3rd line would be nice but not necessary)
Ticket system experience (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc)
Server administration skills - Active Directory, Exchange, Group Policies, etc
Windows desktop and server OS support / troubleshooting
Microsoft Office Suite support/troubleshooting
VPN support / troubleshooting
Server Rack and Stack
Basic data centre experience - racking and cabling servers/network infrastructure kit

Strong communication skills are a must as well as client facing skills.
