IT Risk & Control Analyst

International Banking Group - EC2Y / Moorgate

up to £665pd to Umbrella - Inside IR35*

Initial 6 Month Contract, Hybrid Working Model**

As an award-winning and preferred recruitment partner to one of the world's most trusted banking groups for more than ten years, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a contract IT Risk & Control Analyst to join them on an initial 6-month contract. In this role you will support the Senior Infrastructure Risk and Control Analyst in overseeing, challenging, reviewing and supporting each pillar of IT Infrastructure, ensuring adherence to risk management frameworks and policies.

The Role

-Assist with and help perform internal and external audit activities across Infrastructure (Testing, Information Collation, Action Plan Development, Reporting).

-Liaise with Infrastructure and IT Risk/Control Teams to track remediation actions of open Audit and Self Identified IT Risk Issues.

-Co-ordinate quarterly Infrastructure SOX control testing as well as track the actions for remediation of Penetration Test issues.

-Co-ordinate review processes (documentation reviews, recertification activities, etc.) with IT Infrastructure, Information Security, IT Risk/Control and IT Policy Teams.

-Creation of MI reporting including information on audit, risk and KPIs

-Maintain the tracking status of self identifies issues by keeping it up to date, and comparing entries in the bank's central risk tracking system. Obtain status updates from relevant staff and relay to the IT Risk and Control Team for updating the record in the risk tracking system.

-Help organise and take minutes for regular team meetings with Infrastructure Teams

-Maintain the risk and audit calendar and pipelines for the Infrastructure Teams

About You (Not all essential)

-IT Audit / IT Control Experience (ideally in regulated Banking/Finance/Tech/FinTech environments

-Have worked alongside IT Teams (Infrastructure, Network, Server, Database, Desktop etc.)

-Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance issues around financial technology useful

-Has a knowledge and understanding of the COBIT Framework

-Computer literate and competent with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc and MI Reporting

-A self-starter who can work independently when required (e.g. troubleshooting basic technical problems by yourself with minimum support)

*Inside IR35 (PAYE Umbrella): This contract is offered on a PAYE basis (via an umbrella company). The day rate is budgeted up to £665.76 and this is the total amount we would pay your nominated umbrella. It is inclusive of holiday accrual and employer pension contributions. All statutory deductions (both Employers and Employee NI, Income Tax, Apprenticeship Levy, etc.) will be deducted from this figure.

**Hybrid Working: Our client has a hybrid working model. You will be expected to spend two days a week on-site in their London EMEA HQ near Moorgate Tube. The remainder can be spent working remotely from home, or if preferred in the office.
