Our client is an international, publicly listed semiconductor manufacturer and develops and produces machines for the semiconductor industry. For over 60 years, they have been a leading producer of chips worldwide and employ approximately 1,600 employees. The production of the chips takes place via partnered companies located in Malaysia and China, with also a Research & Development department located in Singapore. The company has two locations in the Netherlands: location Arnhem (Duiven) with approximately 150 people and location Den Bosch with approximately 50 people. What you will do: For the High Tech Packaging department, our client is looking for an experienced Software Developer .NET / C#. You work closely with fellow developers (in the Netherlands and Singapore) in which you think and act in a multidisciplinary way. This results in an environment where all developers can have their input and don't need hierarchical structures to get things done. Under the supervision of the Software Architect, you devise and translate new processes, concepts and elaborate upon them. You are responsible for product development, including quality assurance. Stakeholder management is a vital part of the role and one must be keen to spar with all parties to maintain the correct course and a clear vision. Regular interaction with the System Architect and other stakeholders is part of your daily work to maintain the right connection between all parties accordingly. You have broad or in-depth knowledge in various sub-areas and you keep up with developments and trends in the market. You will also have the opportunity to visit various clients on-site if necessary to have a complete understanding of the processes or to act as a technical consultant. The Senior Software Developer reports to the Senior Manager System Control and also, for the technical aspects, to the R&D Project Leader. In addition, it would be a valuable skill set for the role if you have some experience with database management. What we expect from you: Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the semiconductor or high-tech industry;Experience with .NET / C#;
Experience with Mercurial / GIT;
Knowledge regarding the translation from product requirement specifications to software requirements;
Working in an Agile environment (e.g. Kanban);
Lead by example;
Willingness to help, coach and assist colleagues;
