Are you a Process Engineer, looking to play a key role in the running of the mechanical drilling, laser drilling and routing department for products used in the aerospace and satellite industry?

This company specialise in the production of PCB's for Blue Chip clients within the Space, Power, Aerospace & Defence industries - making this role a varied and autonomous position for the right candidate.

This would suit a Process Engineer with a strong engineering background (HND qualification or at graduate degree level in Physics, Optical engineering / Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical) and knowledge of working with lasers would be extremely advantageous.

The Person:

• Proven experience in the development of machine tools and systems for laser material processing, or aligned technologies.
• Experience with manufacturing method complimentary to laser material processing.
• Proven experience in manufacturing precision parts to tight tolerances on modern CNC Machines, coupled with knowledge of CNC programming.

The Role:

• Day to day tasks such as: production support; new product introduction; process development and improvement activities.
• To take full ownership of the designated manufacturing processes that fall within his/her area of Jurisdiction
• Review, understand and align the capability of the production processes that he/she are assigned to reliably achieve the needs and demands of the customer
